Our Story

Honor Botanicals was born out of a desire to slow down, live more intentionally, and create something meaningful. After more than 20 years in the corporate world, I felt called to shift my path—to spend my time in ways that brought joy, creativity, and purpose. The passing of my dad to cancer and my mom’s long journey with Alzheimer’s made me realize how fleeting life is. I wanted to honor their memory by living fully, embracing the present, and building a life rooted in love, health, and connection to nature.

My husband (Claudio) and I left the city behind and found our way to a 10-acre horse property just outside Philomath, Oregon. From the moment we saw it, we knew it was meant to be. The rolling hills, the open sky, the possibility of raising our children closer to nature—it all felt right. What started as a simple idea to plant lavender on the hillside “just because it would be pretty” quickly blossomed into something much bigger.

We began in 2022 with 1,200 lavender plants, a broken copper still gifted by a nearby farm, and a lot of determination. Within a few years, our lavender was thriving, and we were bringing fresh bundles and hydrosol to the Corvallis farmers market.

Today, Honor Botanicals is a reflection of everything I care most about—family, nature, creativity, and healthy living. Each product we craft is made with pure essential oils and natural ingredients, designed to reduce toxins and bring the calming, restorative benefits of lavender into your home and daily life.

This journey is our way of honoring the extraordinary people who shaped us, the land that sustains us, and the community that supports us. We’re so grateful to share it with you.

With gratitude and honor,

Katherine
